Cortel’s founder and managing director is Neville Sheen, who set up the company in 1989 (then called Cellular Advice) in order to offer an improved level of telecommunications service to business customers.
Mr Sheen was formally the Director of a Vodafone Service Provider, and was a member of the council of the Federation of Communications Services (FCS) for three years. He set up the FCS’s Crime Prevention Unit, which was funded and adhered to by all four leading network operators, and sat on the committee overseeing the quality dealers scheme, which was designed to raise the quality of the service provided by independent dealers.
